"Go At Throttle Up" (172 BPM)
Rocket-fueled tribal beats bookending a solid-core engine of high-energy psy trance, and coming back to Earth with two gorgeous progressive house tracks. (This is known in literary and advertising circles as exhausting your metaphor.) This mix was a challenge, not because of the speed but because many of the tracks here were recorded at 125 BPM. But we like challenges, yah?

This mix is mostly very uplifting, but with an odd vein of wistfulness throughout that makes the whole thing kind of melancholy. Me, I Iike melancholy. We drama queens know it's the most refined emotion, especially when you need to justify being arty.
